If you’re not happy with an aspect of your pension scheme, or you think a mistake has been made, it makes sense to take your issue to the scheme administrator first. Administrators run the scheme and will know the rules and how these apply to you. If they can’t resolve the problem to your satisfaction, or you feel they aren’t dealing with it properly, then you can ask us to help you.
Please be aware that before we can help, you must have already tried, in writing, to get your complaint resolved. We will need copies of that correspondence and any other relevant documents. After considering the information you send us, we might also need to contact your scheme or provider.
