TPAS on the Martin Lewis show

TPAS welcomed in the New Year with a mention on the Martin Lewis show on Friday 3 January 2014.

The topic discussed was pension tracing.  It is very easy to lose track of your pensions, especially if you have moved house or changed your job.  Research undertaken for NOW: Pensions shows that a quarter of over 55's have four or more pension pots, and almost a third admitting they didn't know where all their pension pots are.

Pension tracing definitely aroused the interest of viewers.  We opened our webchat facility at 8 pm on Friday evening and by 10 pm, we had chatted to 109 people.  During the weekend, we received over 500 enquiries, and on Monday we received over 370 calls and conducted 51 webchats.

If you have lost touch with your pension provider, it is a good idea to try to find your pension now rather than waiting until you want to retire.  Read more about pension tracing on our website here.
