Mama Mia! ABBA are back
ABBA are back with two new songs – some of us have been waiting for years for the next ABBA catchy tune. Agnetha (68), Anni-Frid (72), Bjorn (73) and Benny (71) have made a come-back.
At TPAS we support those that want to have fuller working lives and know that people don’t just return to work for “Money, Money, Money” but also to give themselves a sense of “Knowing me, knowing you” purpose.
Much has changed though since 1982 when the group broke up, “the Winner takes it All” is no longer true and pension sharing on divorce is now possible; TPAS has a dedicated divorce appointment service to help people navigate this and other options. Consumers no longer have to “Take a chance on” their adviser and know that if they are on the FCA register they are regulated and qualified to give advice, please see our spotlight for more details. Since Pension Freedoms, you can do what “Voulez- Vous” with your Defined Contribution pension and can be guided by our team on the telephone with a Pension Wise appointment.
ABBA, alongside many musicians, are self-employed and TPAS is looking to do more work for the self-employed in the near future including piloting a self-employed Mid-Life Review in the summer. We hope to find “The Name of the Game” of retirement planning that works for people who are self-employed.
If you did indeed enjoy ABBA’s “Arrival” the first time around, you are probably in those mid-life years too, so “When all is said and done”, you may want to extend your working life or send out an “SOS” to build a bigger retirement income. We can give you tips on how this may affect your retirement.
Most people “I have a dream” that one day they will not have to work. In order to meet your retirement goals, you need to make sure that your pension is a real “Super Trouper”. And if you want to have your own rock and roll comeback, “Does your Mother Know?”.
