Contacting us
There are lots of ways you can get in touch to talk to us about pensions. This page explains all the ways to contact us and how we’ll be able to help.
We can help with all kinds of pension questions. If you have a question, please get in touch with us using any of the ways below.
While we will always try to be helpful, what we're not able to do is give regulated financial advice. This means that we're not able to tell you what product you should buy or what to do. What we can do however, is talk you through some of the things you might want to think about, and the possible implications of the decision you need to make.
Our services are offered online, in writing, via webchat and by telephone. Please note that incoming and outgoing calls may be recorded. Unfortunately we're unable to accept visitors to our office.
Helplines and online support
Our pension helplines are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
We are available on webchat from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

If you are contacting us about the State Pension Correction Exercise (please click here for more details) then please note we do not have access to anyone's State Pension records. You may wish to contact the Pension Service instead on 0800 731 0469 (they administer the State Pension). As their lines are likely to be very busy you could also consider writing to them. Their contact details can be found at https://findpensioncentre.dwp.gov.uk/.

Complaints about our service
We always aim to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. However, despite our endeavours, we don’t always get it right. It’s really important to us that we hear your feedback and can learn from it.
If you think we could have done something better and are unhappy with how we've handled your case, please let us know.
You’ll find full details of our complaint procedure here.
False calls
Unfortunately, there are fake telephone callers out there, so please be careful if someone cold calls you and asks you for personal information about you and your pension. At The Pensions Advisory Service, we only know what you tell us and we have no access to your personal information. We don’t make unsolicited calls and we don't sell any type of product or service.
If you receive a suspicious call, please click here to read about your consumer rights and who you can contact for more help.
