Women and pensions

The Pensions Advisory Service has launched its latest initiative to help women with their preparation for retirement. Although many women are saving for retirement, in our experience of helping members of the public, women tend to have lower pensions then men. This is usually due to lower salaries and taking time off work to raise children or care for a relative.

To help ensure that the right guidance is provided, we have produced a new and revised leaflet for women which can be downloaded from the link below.

Pensions - A guide for women

We have created a survey to help capture the specific areas that affect women the most when it comes to pensions, so that we can help to ensure that the necessary information is made available. If you would like to help us with this initiative please click on the link below to complete the survey.
