The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) will be publishing its
annual casework report "Advising on Pensions - a Review of
Activities 05/06" on Friday, 30 June 2006.
The report will provide details of the numbers and types of
pension enquiries/complaints handled during the year together with
comment and analysis on the various issues raised by consumers.
Particular problems for consumers arising out of what is arguably
the most complicated pension system in the world will be
highlighted. The report will also include many case examples
illustrating dispute resolution and what can be and is being
achieved.
The report is being launched at the Royal College of
Pathologists, 2 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1 at midday on
Friday, 30 June 2006. There will also be a presentation to the
Volunteer of the Year and seven new Fellowship Awards.
This is an open meeting and representatives of the media are
welcome to attend.
A copy of the report together with an embargoed press release
will be issued in advance by Thursday 29 June 2006.
Requests for further information and/or an interview about the
report should made to Malcolm McLean, Chief Executive on the
contact details shown above.
