The Pensions Advisory Service welcomes the publication of the
Code of Good Practice on incentive exercises for pensions.
Our Chief Executive, Marta Phillips OBE said "We support the
principles in the Code of Good Practice and expect to continue to
play our part in helping people understand their pension rights by
informing and guiding them through complex pension issues.
The technical expertise of our staff and volunteers in pensions
means that we are uniquely placed to provide free and impartial
help in this area".
Alison-Jane Bailey, Head of Policy & Technical Development,
said "We are pleased to have played a key role in helping shape the
Code, using our many years' of experience in helping members of the
public. We believe the Code represents a significant step
forward in consumer protection".
