Research by the Institute of Education at the University of
London, found that nine in ten people in their early 50's are
considering working past their state pension age to improve their
standard of living.
Around 70 per cent of those surveyed were worried they might not
have enough to live on when they retire, but 89 per cent were
willing to continue working once they could take their state
pension.
