The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has published a consultation
document for trustees and managers of occupational pension schemes
on transfer incentives to replace the 'inducement offers' guidance
published in January 2007. The updated guidance clarifies the role
of both the employer and trustees
TPR wants to ensure that trustees become actively involved in
any transfer incentive or other benefit modification exercises that
the employer proposes to run.
