The Pensions Trust has appointed Sarah Smart as chairman of its
trustee board. Ms Smart is currently trustee chair of the Macmillan
Cancer Support Pension Scheme and a board member of the London
Pensions Fund Authority.
Ms Smart replaces Lynda Howe who continues to serve on the board
as deputy chairman.
Ms Smart said: "The current environment of economic uncertainty
and increasing regulatory changes presents a huge challenge for all
pension schemes and I look forward to working with The Pensions
Trust to ensure we continue to offer relevant, worthwhile pension
schemes to our members."
