Reader’s Digest scheme enters PPF

The Reader's Digest pension scheme has entered into the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) assessment period. After going into administration in February, Readers Digest Association UK was recently bought out by private equity firm Better Capital.

However, the £125m pension shortfall will remain with the company and is the subject of ongoing talks between the Pensions Regulator, the PPF and the scheme administrator's Moore Stephens.
