According to research by JLT Benefit Solutions Ltd, 51% of
members of final salary pension schemes believe their occupational
pension scheme is safe, compared to 39% in a defined contribution
scheme.
Duncan Howorth, the CEO of JLT, commented: "In the current
climate it is surprising that final salary members have expressed
such high levels of confidence in their funds."
