EMAG gets court date

30 June 2009

Hundreds of thousands of Equitable Life savers who lost their pensions following the near collapse of Equitable Life, will finally get their day in court next month.

After nearly a decade, the Government will have to attend a High Court hearing at the end of July. The Treasury had to submit its defence earlier this week. The Equitable Members Action Group (EMAG), which launched the legal challenge, hopes to finally achieve justice for its members.
