The Equitable Members Action Group yesterday began a four-day
hearing in the High Court in an attempt to overturn a Government
decision giving Equitable Life policyholders a fraction of the
compensation they are entitled to.
The 24,000 members of the Group have so far spent £250,000 on
the case, and are hoping for a judgment in the Autumn.
