The Public Administration Select Committee (PASC) has decided to
re-open its inquiry into the Equitable Life affair.
At a session on Thursday (29 January) the PASC heard from the
Parliamentary Ombudsman, Ann Abraham. This followed the
Government's response to the report from the Parliamentary
Ombudsman. She was disappointed that the Government had rejected
some of her findings and also failed to set out a timetable for
compensation.
