The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) has said that, according to
helpline calls, many women are unaware of or confused about
forthcoming changes to the state pension.
Areas of confusion include reduction in qualifying years for a
basic state pension, changes to the state pension age and the
improved ability to pay voluntary National Insurance
contributions.
