The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) has published a set of
information to answer the questions that they are most frequently
asked but where the data is not readily available from other
sources.
The information published includes facts and figures on items
such as:
Demographics - Figures on the number of people
at pension age and life expectancy
State Pensions - Figures on State Pension
spending and Basic State Pension and State Second Pension
amounts. Figures on the number of Pension Credit claimants and
average payments
Private Pensions - Figures on
Personal and Occupational Pension savings levels
Working and Retirement - Figures on working age
groups and average retirement ages
