British Airways (BA) is under pressure to close its final salary
pension scheme, a move which may spark more disputes with pilots.
BA has said it no longer has any cash to pump into the scheme
because of its record deficits this year.
The Pension Protection Fund has admitted that it is drawing up
contingency plans for the BA scheme should it fail to recover.
