Graduates need earlier financial education

Punter Southall has highlighted the need for graduates to understand the importance of joining a pension scheme at the beginning of their working lives as they could be missing out on thousands of pounds by not joining a defined contribution pension arrangement.

Punter Southall said that the assumption that they will have to work until they drop, student debt and wanting to get on the property ladder were all factors preventing graduates from joining company pension schemes.
