Industry experts have expressed concerns over whether the
Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has collected enough in levies to be
able to meet its obligations. A total of 61 pension funds are now
covered by the PPF, with the possibility that further economic
turmoil could see more pension schemes collapse and put the PPF
under extra pressure.
