According to Scottish Labour leader Wendy Alexander, recent
shortfalls in police pensions have reached "crisis" proportions. Ms
Alexander told Members of the Scottish Parliament that there is an
expected shortfall next year of over £50m. She called on the
First Minister to publish estimates for the cost of police pensions
for the next three years.
