Nationwide has informed scheme trustees that it plans to
withdraw from the additional voluntary contributions (AVC) markets
from 28 February and has struck up a deal with Prudential to allow
existing clients to transfer their AVC accounts. Any schemes with
assets less than £200,000 will have to pay a fee of
£8,500.
