Equitable Life chairman Vanni Treves is seeking meetings with
senior MPs in an attempt to mount pressure on the Government to pay
compensation to wind-up victims.
Mr Treves claims to have already approached a number of
Government officials requesting an audience since the recent
publication of the Parliamentary Ombudsman's report.
He said: "We, the board, will be spending the summer working
really rather hard on lobbying."
