The Communication Workers' Union (CWU) are going to stage two 48
hour strikes back to back following a breakdown in talks on pay and
pensions last month.
The strikes will take place on 5 October and 8 October, meaning
services will be disrupted for 5 days as a Sunday falls in
between.
CWU are opposed to Royal Mail's proposals to increase pension
contributions and introduce a later retirement age.
