There is continuing disagreement between Royal Mail and the
Communication Workers Union (CWU) over the details of pension
reform. Royal Mail says that CWU has agreed to the closure of its
final salary scheme, but CWU maintains that it has only agreed to a
consultation on changes to the pension scheme, which must then be
voted on by all of its Royal Mail and Post Office members.
