Electronics company Philips has told final salary scheme members
that following a £400m cash injection, the scheme is now
fully funded.
The scheme trustees said: "We first began working to create a
closer match for the fund's final salary liabilities around ten
years ago. The plan is now fully funded and the financial tools to
help us achieve a closer match are well established."
