The Alliance Boots pension fund trustees are considering legal
action to block the proposed takeover by Kohlberg Kravis
Roberts.
The trustees are understood to want a total contribution of
£1bn whereas it is believed KKR is only willing to pay
£900m.
KKR has agreed to meet the trustees in an attempt to thrash out
a deal to ensure the smooth takeover of the healthcare company.
