Regulator's enforcing of financial support directions may breach human rights

The Pensions Regulator could be in breach of human rights legislation by demanding UK pension scheme deficit funding. It has been argued that the Regulator's enforcement of financial support directions could be in breach of the protection property section of the Parliament Act 2004.

The Regulator issued it's first financial support direction to Sea Containers last week.
