MPs vote today on new lifeboat fund

The Government will know today whether or not they will be forced to establish a new lifeboat fund to make supplementary payments to those individuals who lost their pensions when their companies went bust under an amendment to the Pensions Bill.

However, it is believed that the Government will vote against this amendment.
