City lawyer's age discrimination claim starts today

09 July 2007

Peter Bloxham's age discrimination claim against former partners at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is due to start at the London Central Employment Tribunal today.

City lawyer Mr Bloxham will appear at the Tribunal to give evidence in a case believed to focus on alleged unfairness traceable to changes to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's pension arrangement, although details are still unclear.

This dispute is the first of its kind involving a senior City employee since the age regulations were introduced.
