The Pensions Regulator has appointed Martine Trouard-Riolle
permanent head of Corporate Risk Management.
Martine Trouard-Riolle is an experienced insolvency lawyer with
several years experience working in the City. She is also a
qualified insolvency practitioner and has advised banks, creditors
and office holders on insolvency and restructuring.
She joined the regulator in August 2005 as senior lawyer in the
CRM team and has gained significant experience of dealing with
complex clearance cases and pensions issues. Prior to joining the
regulator Trouard-Riolle was an associate lawyer in the
restructuring and insolvency department of Kirkpatrick &
Lockhart Nicholson Graham in London.
Pensions Regulator executive director June Mulroy said: "Martine
has a double skill base being a lawyer and an insolvency
specialist, and has considerable commercial experience.
"These technical skills are complemented by interpersonal and
managerial skills which, combined with her previous experience,
will enable her to be an excellent leader to the team."
Trouard-Riolle takes over from interim head of corporate risk
management Fiona Crisp, who will remain with the regulator until
January 2007 as support to the Deliver directorate.
